Our university Internet access is provided by ULAKNET (National Academic Network) Our speed of access is 200mbps’dir.

You can use our Internet access services through CABLED and WIRELESS connections.

You can access our Internet services with the laptop computers provided for you by our university or if you wish, you can use your personal laptop computer, tablet computer, or mobile mevice (iPhone, BlackBerry, Android Phone etc.)

Ekonet-Staff: For academic and administrative staff
Eduroam: For Eduroam members (Click for detailed information)
Ekonet-Guest: For university guests
Ekonet-Student: For IEU students

IMPORTANT NOTE Within our university network services, pages considered to contain inappropriate material are blocked automatically by main firewall systems. It is forbidden to use the Internet access for improper purposes.

No, recent installation does not necessitate new activation. However, if you do not have Internet access, consult the Help Desk.

Make sure your computer’s DNS settings are done automatically.

You can change Internet registration up to three (3) times a year.

1. Bring the device you would like to register to the Help Desk Office.
2. Give your device together with your Staff ID Card to the Help Desk employee.
3. Get the Internet Activation Form given to you approved by your supervisor.
4. Give the approved form to the Help Desk employee.

Following the submission of the form, your Internet Access will be activated. After this step, you can access the Internet by choosing “Ekonet-Staff” transmission.

IMPORTANT NOTE : For computers booted with an operating system earlier than Windows 8 a SecureW2 program must be installed. For Apple products a certificate must be installed. You can reach necessary programs from the DOWNLOADS page

If your laptop has been previously activated, another activation is not necessary. You can connect through the Ekonet-Staff wireless network.

Yes. To do this, you need to come to the Help Desk Office with your personal device and staff ID and fill out an Internet Activation form.
